Taking a stand on the things you love, makes you achieve your hearts desires.
Hello! Hello! Hello!
Sex for me has become therapeutic and it has gotten to a point that I enjoy every encounter as my entire being is able to be in the moment.
When it comes to sex on my period, it was something that I told myself that I would never do, but I’ve learnt it is all in how it is done.Correct timing and ensuring you vocalize to your partner how you want it done. I have added sex to my cycle right before my periods in order to help minimize my cramping and control the hornyness. 😉😉😉
Is sex on your period, maybe before and after be something you would do? Is it something you already do? Let me know.
I remember when I started my natural hair journey, I had the impression that I would only use very few products, but a few years later and I have a whole box of hair products.🙈🙈🙈
When Marini Naturals lauched their new and improved products, my heart skipped a beat and I was so excited when I received the butter and daily spritz. Though, for today, I’ll focus on the butter because I LOOOVEEE butters.😍😍😍
The amount of moisture and definition this butter gives me is just life. I have been loving how it works with my hair and I don’t have to bother about moisturizing my hair in between washes.
Just look at that definition and tell me it doesn’t make you want to get the butter for your hair.
I’d highly recommend the butter and it only retails for Kes. 950 and a little goes a long way. The tab will last you at least 4 months.
All you need is a good laugh and a support system that will not judge.
Hey! Hey! Hey!
Can someone please explain to me why it’s so cold? Is this how winter feels like? I’m just so confused ’cause I don’t remember last year being this cold.
Anyway, two Saturday’s ago, my girls and I went for lunch at The Rouge Deck at Dusit D2 and I must say, having that time out form all the hupla in life is always worth it.
Don’t we look all cute and stuff? The three of us have been friends since 2003 and I must say seeing this two grow into the women they are is just AMAZING.
Our plan was to dress up and just hang out, but as you can see, I kinda, sorta threw that plan out the window. Hahahaha but I still looked cute, right?
Knit Top – Belonged to Mum.
Jeans – Toi Market (Ksh.200)
Head tie – Street in town.
As you can see, I opted for a knit top that I made off-shoulder and my favourite pair of jeans EVER.
For my hair, I just put it up in a bun and tied a headscarf, because girl, my hair was a mess.
Lunch was okay, I’ll give it a 5/10, at least for what I had, the fish & chips.
Now, I love me some strawberry Daiquiri and for the life of me, I don’t know why it isn’t at every single establishment, but that’s okay.
I ended up ordering the daiquiri and let me just tell you the rum in it, hit me like a ton of bricks, but I liked it. 8/10.
If you plan on trying it out, I recommend it for a nice afternoon hangout because they close at 6:30pm.
Here is a vlog from the day, plus you get to meet my friends. 😀
Hope you enjoyed today’s post. If there are places in Nairobi you’d like me and my friends to try out, let me know.
Have you ever been approached and asked to sell your body for sex?
Well, I got approached a few weeks ago and I must say it was very strange for me. Imagine waking up to a message asking you to have sex with strangers for Ksh.40,000 per client, a bit odd, right?
As much as I enjoy it, I have my rules that I follow to a tee and I’m not about to change them.
At times a slight change helps settle the turmoil.
First off, I’d love to thank each and every one of you who voted for me, we didn’t win, but I’m thankful and proud that I got nominated. Next step, is to keep working hard and putting a smile on someone’s face. 🙂
Secondly, I have honestly come to the stage with my hair where I’m bored with her and before I do something drastic, that I may or may not regret, I have decided to do a few protective styles.
For starters, I decided to do the lines and box braids. I’m pretty sure most of us remember having this style growing up and during the holidays, we would march to the salon and ask for “Half lines, Half rastas” Oh, the good old days 😀
I used three packets of Darling’s Elegant Braid in Number 1/350, a few rubber bands for the box braids and plenty of beads just to style up the do.
You can get all these supplies from any beauty store.
I’m excited and a bit relaxed that I don’t have to bother with my hair at all, plus, it doesn’t hurt that the hair is light and I see myself having the style in for another two week or three, who knows? 🙂
Here is a quick video on how I was able to achieve this look.
Are you currently protective styling? Are you and your hair on good terms?
Let me know.
One of my resolutions for this year was to travel or take a vacation every 3 to 4 months and I’m so glad that I’m on the right track with that. How are your resolutions going?
Two weeks ago, my friends and I went down to the coast of Kenya, to Diani to be specific and I must say, it was the best 4 days, so far this year.
We stayed at the cutest Airbnb that was 80 metres from the beach.
All we did was relax, eat and just enjoy not having to deal with any technology.
Walking on the beach, having the sand between our toes and the waves crashing on our feet was the most relaxing feeling ever.
Here are highlights of what went down;
Have you been able to travel within the first 4 months of the year? If so, where?
But, funny thing with having a great vacation, you can’t stop thinking of the next.
My friends and I are now planning on where to go next. Where do you think we’ll go?
Be as honest and as straight forward with your partner as much as you can.
Mid week of the last week of April, can whoever is stepping on the accelerator please ease up a little bit. I’ve just been running up and down working and planning a few things, and seeing how things are going, end of here will be here and we shall just be recapping on again.
I am an advocate of talking things over with your partner as this ensures that any hiccups that arise are dealt with.
Matildah and I had a good time discussing this topic and I hope that we helped you understand the importance of being true to what you want.
Do you agree with us? Should you define the relationship in the beginning or later on?
Let the universe know your intentions and it’ll always give you what you need.
I know that I am so late to announce this here, but I was on vacation for 4 days and I just readjusted back to Nairobi life. Hahahaha
If you don’t follow me on my social media accounts (I’m quietly judging you), then you don’t know that I’ve been nominated for this year’s BAKE (Bloggers Association of Kenya) Awards under the category of Best Beauty & Hair Blog.
I am more than honored and humbled and it wouldn’t have been the case if it wasn’t for each and every one of you who takes the time to read my blogs and just sticking by me through my ups and downs.
On that note, I want to ask, if you could vote for me herehttps://vote.bakeawards.co.ke/ Category 20, Option E (justnimu), it would mean the world to me and it only takes a few minutes.
Voting ends on April 30th 2018.
Thank you so much for sticking by me and all your support.
I have some amazing news to give, but I shall leave that for another post.
Hope your week went well, mine just seemed to pass by, but it was a good one.
Being a natural, I’m always looking for products that will work well with my hair and leave it feeling loved and taken care of.
Dark and Lovely sent me a package a few months ago and I have been testing out the whole Au Naturale range and I must say, I’m in love.
My favourite has to be the Moisture Replenishing Shampoo, it leaves my hair so moisturised and happy that it has become a staple.
Here is my full review;
The range has 7 products;
Moisture Replenishing Shampoo.
Knot out Conditioner.
3-in-1 Cleansing conditioner.
Wash Free Braid Refresher.
Anti Itch Scalp Soother.
Afro Moisturising Butter.
Plaiting Pudding Cream.
You can shop for all the products off Jumia or at various beauty shops.
Hope you enjoy your weekend and I’ll talk to you soon.
If I could turn back time, I’d give someone else what I had.
I know when it comes to the topic of virginity, everyone has their own point of view and for me, it’s all about your personal decision. I lost my virginity at a young age and I have been shamed here and there by those closest to me and the one thing that always runs through my head is, “Why does it bother you so?” It’s my choice and it does not affect you as to when I choose to lose it.
Today I just want us to talk about losing your virginity and what I wish I knew before I made that decision.
Do you feel as though the society should influence our personal decisions?
